After a busy summer, all in Le Chéile FRC are welcoming in cosier times enjoying the autumn foliage and Halloween coming very soon. At Le Chéile, we continue to be busy, welcoming, and full of community spirit as we work alongside and support people across North Cork.
On 18th Sept we opened the Community Garden, situated just past the Le Cheile FRC main building. An afternoon of song and dance, food and chat was enjoyed by the community. The Garden is now open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, please call in and have a look, bring a coffee and tell your friends. Raised beds are available for all Community members to hire. Call Le Cheile FRC on 02242439 to register your interest.
Le Chéile is now running two busy toddler groups, one for each side of the river! Parents and little ones can enjoy the original Parent & Toddler Group (every Wednesday morning, 9.45-11.30am at the Blue Cube P51 VAK2) as well as the new Parent & Toddler Group (every Friday morning, 10-12pm at the Mercy Centre P51 PF10). Both groups are a lovely space for friendship, and support for the grown ups, while children enjoy a safe and engaging environment. For more information, contact Allison on 087 9008726.
A “meet and mingle” was attended by the Mallow Strollers walking group in Youghal recently. Great fun was had by all and the sun was shining! The group walked the beautiful boardwalk by the beach, followed by tea and scones, a sing song and a quiz.
